All About Me!

Hello Fort Sam Houston Elementary Families!

My name is Andrea Hicks...but here at Fort Sam Houston, I go by just "Ms. Hicks". I've been teaching Kindergarten for 17 years now. Prior to that, I taught 2nd grade for 7 years and 3rd grade for one. This will be my 25h year in education … And all of it has been done right here at Fort Sam Houston Elementary!

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my puppy, Ramsey, my family and friends! I also enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, shopping and spending time outdoors listening to the sounds of nature.

I am looking forward to another great year with a new group of amazing kiddos!
