About Me

My husband and I have been married for 31 years. We have one son who was among the graduating class of 2021 at Cole H.S. Our family enjoys traveling whenever we get the chance.

I grew up as a military child, moving everywhere from Japan to Alaska. I believe growing up that way has given me a broad world view. It has also afforded me the experience and understanding of what our students go through when they are the new kid in school or are getting ready to move away from their friends. 

I've had some experience on active duty; I joined the Army National Guard in the early '90s and was activated for Desert Storm. So, being around the military makes me feel right at home. 

This year will be my nineteenth year of teaching and my thirteenth year as theTechnology Applications teacher here at FSH Elementary. I'm am proud to serve our military by serving their children.
