Popcorn Words

Popcorn Words are words that "POP" up in reading. Each week we will introduce 2 new popcorn words. Please see the attached file for the 2016-2017 word lists. Please note that all Kindergartners are required to read 25 High Frequency ("popcorn") words by the end of the year. Should your child master reading and identifying all required words prior to the end of the year, I will gladly send home a first-grade word list. Make sure to help your child by practicing each week and making reading fun!
