Egg Drop Contest-March 19, 2024

FSH Elementary School Challenge:

 ANNUAL EGG DROP

Can a raw egg survive the harrowing plunge from a height of at least 5 meters? Design a container that will protect a raw chicken egg from breaking.  On March 19, 2024, it will be "eggs away"!!! Please click on the link for an entry form. (Link will be available in the spring.)

Originality and creativity are appreciated, but your design must follow these guidelines:

(Entry forms are due by March 8th. Sorry, no late entry forms will be permitted.)

·         ~Design cannot involve liquids, helium, other lighter-than-air gases, peanut butter, or glass.

·         ~Egg container cannot exceed one foot in length, height or width. Winged designs need to fall within this dimension.

·         ~Use of parachutes is NOT allowed.  

·         ~All containers must be made at home, prior to the event. 

  EGGS WILL BE DROPPED DURING GRADE LEVEL'S PE BLOCK.
