Meet Mrs. Neal

I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year.  I can’t wait to see him or her grow!

I am originally from Ohio.  I graduated from undergrad there and I completed my master's degree at UTSA. I started teaching in Williamsburg, VA to be closer to my brother.  He was stationed in Norfolk.  I had 4 wonderful years teaching at an IB PYP World School.  They sent me to a training in Austin, TX and the minute the plane landed I knew Texas was supposed to be my home!  I taught 3 years in Pflugerville and this is my 10th year at Ft. Sam Houston.  I am THRILLED to be at such an amazing school.  Plus, I get to be your child’s teacher!

My husband and I have a little girl that just turned 8 in June.  I enjoy spending time with her and my husband and our dog.  My favorite things to do on the weekend are read and go for walks looking for kindness rocks.  My love of books will definitely be evident in our class!
