13th Annual Pumpkin Chunkin’

 

 

Build a Pumpkin Launching Machine* !

To promote creative thinking, and to applaud technology and creativity, I am challenging you to participate in our school's 13th annual Pumpkin Chunkin’ Contest!   Build a machine that can launch up to a 1 pound pumpkin or acorn squash.  This is an at-home project.  Please return your permission slip/entry form to Mrs Lamoureux by Thursday, October 26^th.  Forms must be turned in by COB Thursday, October 26^th.  There will be no late entries, no exceptions.   Bring your machine to school on Thursday, (Nov 2nd ) morning by 8am.  Drop it off in the chunking zone.  If you would like to donate any pumpkins or acorn squash…I would love it!!!  If you have any questions, you can contact me at [email protected].

*No air cannons, please.

 

Launchings will occur NOVEMBER 3rd, during each grade level's regularly scheduled PE time.
