About Me

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Sara Garza and I am a paraeducator.  I work alongside the Kindergarten Team.  I am truly honored to be able to work with the students of Fort Sam Houston!

My husband and I are the parents of five children. Our oldest, William, served 8 years in the Army and is now a member of the Space Force  stationed at Fort Detrick.   Natalie is a graduate of Texas Tech and is a 2nd grade teacher here at Fort Sam Elementary.  Samuel works for SAWS (San Antonio Water Service).  Matthew graduated from Texas Tech in May 2023 and is a 2LT in the Army training to be an EOD officer.  Our youngest, Deborah, is an 11th grader at Robert G Cole High School.  She will run cross country and play soccer and softball.  Our family has 2 cats, Gary and Cosby. 

I'm sure this will prove to be an exciting, rewarding, and memorable year!
