All About Me
My name is Marty McGrath. I have been working at Ft. Sam Houston Elementary for 16 years. I started off substituting and spent 5 years as a Paraprofessional in the Special Ed. Department. I have worked mostly with the early childhood kids, but have also had lots of fun working with the older grades throughout the years. I have also coached Middle School and High School Lacrosse up in Boerne Tx. (about 20 miles north of here.) Currently my "Coaching Career" has me closer to home. I am in my 6th year as the Head Coach for the Cole Cougar Swim and Dive Team.
I am the proud father of two amazing children. My daughter Kate is 23 years old and is studying to be a Hair Stylist in Palestine, Tx. She has been a Swimmer and Wrestler. Her favorite things are being an "Adult" and working. My son Eion (pronounced Ian) is 21, and a proud graduate from Robert G. Cole High School. He too is a swimmer and was just accepted into Texas A&M, studying to be an Occupational Therapist. His favorite thing is to do is lift weights, swim, lift weights, and then lift more weights.
I have a dog. His name is Doug. He is by far the coolest dog on the face of the planet.
