About Mrs. Medlin

Hello! My name is Lesley Medlin. I am thankful to be part of the FSHE family, the amazing 3rd grade team and am super excited to watch our scholars grow!    I am a graduate of OLLU where I earned a  Bachelor of Social Work degree and I also attained my Masters of Teaching with Relay Graduate School of Education.  I taught 6 years of private school education and am in my 9th year in public education. My goal is to make sure every student that comes into my classroom feels seen and heard.   They will also be challenged to grow academically and to develop great character. I look forward to a great year of teamwork with each of you!

 

On a personal note, I have been married for 25 years and am a mother to 4 amazing children and a grandmother to my three lovely grandchildren, and one on the way! I love to laugh, share my love of gardening with my students, be outdoors (and outdoor learning), and  hang out with my family.  I am also am very active at my church.  Below are pictures of my family!
