Meet the Teacher

Welcome to Mrs. Dempsey's Second Grade Class!

 

My name is Monica Dempsey and I will be your Second Grade ELAR and Social Studies teacher.  I was born and raised in San Antonio.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas State University and my Master's degree in English at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I proudly have 26 years of teaching experience.  In addition, I have a son in college and daughter in high school.  I am looking forward to all the learning we will be doing this year!
