About Mrs. Coil

My name is Mrs. Coil and I am so excited to spend this year with you!! I am from San Antonio and love it here. As a child, my dad was in the Air Force. I attended Judson High School where I played the French Horn in the marching band and participated in the student council along with peer mediators. I earned my Associate's degree at Northwest Vista College and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance at Upper Iowa University. During my senior year at Upper Iowa, I also worked towards earning my teaching certificate through Texas Teachers. This is my fourteenth year teaching and my twelfth year at Ft. Sam Houston Elem. I am married and have two daughters. We spend most of our time together playing board games, cooking, reading, and taking road trips. 

I look forward to getting to know each student and working closely with all my parents. We are a team in this and I couldn’t do it without all the support given at home. Thank you for all that you do and let’s make this the best year!
