All About Me
"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has - or ever will have - something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression." Fred Rogers
I am excited to be teaching your children! I have been teaching special education since 2002. As a wife of a retired soldier, I have had the opportunties to teach and work around the world for 28 years. I received my Masters in Special Education from the University of Maryland while working for DoDDs in Germany for 5 years as a para educator, and Child Study Committee secretary. When moving back to the states, I taught PPCD for Killeen ISD for 5 years. I have taught at Fort Sam Houston ISD since 2009. I want each child to feel important and know the strength and power of their uniqueness.
I can't wait for the new year to start! I look forward to building new relationships with you all.
