We are Swinging Around in Kindergarten

I look forward to my 11th year at Fort Sam Elementary. Entering kindergarten is an exciting time for children and their parents. Moving from a prekindergarten classroom, the home or from a childcare center to a kindergarten or a new school environment can be an uncomfortable experience for a child. No worries, most days in the Kindergarten room unfold uneventfully. We read, we draw, we color, we eat. We play, we sing, we build, we rest. We learn. We make friends. We discover life. We discover and develop friendships. This community of learners will form a lasting bond called a family. Each little individual living a life that parallels the bigger lives we live on a day-to-day basis, in the hustle-bustle adult world. What a rare and golden opportunity I have been given to watch life bloom, untouched and unaffected. I am honor and excited for a new school year!
