About Ms. Taylor

Hello, Everyone!

My name is Tasha Taylor. I am a kinder teacher at Fort Sam Elementary. I enjoy rising every morning to see bright and eager faces. I love working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through education. I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect. An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world. “So often you find that the students you’re trying to INSPIRE are the ones that end up inspiring you”. Sean Junkins In 2007, I received my AA in Elementary Education at St. Philips College in San Antonio, TX. In 2011, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I have worked with children for the past 18 years as an assistant teacher, assistant coach, a child development provider, and tutor for many subjects. I have a beautiful family of one daughter and a son whom I love with all my heart. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. However, we are a military family who has traveled to many states. We have been home for the past five years. I enjoy spending quality time with my family. During the summer, I spend my free time taking vacations with family, reading, water parks, swimming, and going to the movies. In the winter, I love spending the holidays with family and friends. I look forward to getting to know all of you this school year!
