Read to the Final Four

Calling all 3rd Graders!
Help us reach 25 million minutes read in 2025 in the Read to the Final Four Challenge!

Join your school in reading each week and competing against third graders from across
the city by reading the MOST minutes leading up to the NCAA Men’s Final Four in San
Antonio.

Schools that read the most minutes after each round of the challenge will win books and
prizes! The Final Four schools in the challenge will win a field trip to the Final Four Fan
Fest presented by Capital One and be recognized in a Championship Celebration where
the winning school will receive a $5,000 library makeover!

How do you win?
Step 1: Read at least 25 minutes every day!
Step 2: Record your minutes on your reading log and ask your parent or guardian
to sign.
Step 3: Turn your reading log in to your teacher every Monday.
The challenge will be just like the basketball season:
• Regular Reading Season: November 4 – December 15, 2024
• Holiday Tournament: December 23, 2024 – January 5, 2025
• Bracket Challenge: January 16 – March 2, 2025
• Celebration at Final Four Fan Fest presented by Capital One: April 4, 2025
