Happy Fall

Dear Cougar Cub Families,

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! As the fall season settles in, it has been wonderful to welcome the cooler crisp autumn temperatures across our campus this week.

We have a busy and exciting week ahead, and I want to share a few important reminders and invitations with you:

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences: Conferences will take place this week! These meetings are a vital opportunity to connect, discuss your child’s growth and progress, and partner together for their success. If you haven't scheduled your conference time yet, please reach out to your child's teacher.
  • Principal’s Coffee – Tuesday: Please join us on Tuesday morning for our Principal's Coffee! We will have warm apple cider ready as we gather to chat, answer questions, and discuss our school community. I look forward to seeing many of you there!
  • PTO Trunk or Treat: Our fantastic PTO is hosting our Trunk or Treat! We encourage all of our families to join us for a fun, safe, and festive community celebration.
  • Literacy Pumpkin Drop-Off – Friday, October 23: A reminder for all students participating in our Literacy Pumpkin project: pumpkin drop-off will be on Friday, October 23. We can't wait to see all of the creative storybook pumpkins displayed!

Thank you for your continued partnership and involvement in making our school a warm and supportive community.

Warm regards,

Julissa Fisher
Proud Cougar Cub Principal

Counselor Information
Dear Cougar Cub Parents & Families,

This month, at FSHES our students continue to learn about trustworthiness! Being trustworthy means being honest, keeping promises, following through on responsibilities, and doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Trustworthy people are dependable and show others that they can be counted on. You can encourage your child to continue building on this character trait by
  • Encouraging your child to always tell the truth.
  • Reminding them to keep promises and follow through on commitments.
  • Praising them for making honest choices, even when it is difficult.
Remember, trust is built through small, honest actions every day! Thank you for partnering with us to help our students develop strong character at school, at home, and in our community. Below are some helpful resources about trustworthiness.

Cole Football Schedule

As you know, we support our Cole High School students. The football schedule has been added to our newsletter.
When attending the games, we ask that our elementary aged students remain with their parents. We want to ensure they are safe at all times. Running, throwing the football, or hiding under the bleachers are not allowed during the football games.
